Wheel of Fortune upright

The Wheel turns whether or not anyone's hand is on it, and this is one of those moments where you can feel the gears shifting underneath. Change is arriving less because you engineered it and more because it was always going to come around; the smartest move is to work with the turn instead of against it. What looks like luck right now is really just timing lining up with effort you already put in. Nothing stays at the top or the bottom forever. Remember that whichever way you're currently facing.

The Wheel of Fortune is a reminder that not everything is within your control, and that's not always bad news. Timing is doing some of the work here that effort alone can't. A shift is coming whether or not you push for it. This is a good moment to hold plans loosely; the shape of things is about to change regardless of the current forecast. If things have felt stuck, this card is telling you that stuck is not the same as permanent.

Wheel of Fortune reversed

The Wheel feels stuck, or stuck moving somewhere you didn't want to go. The same cycle with slightly different scenery each time round. It can mean resisting a change that's already underway, white-knuckling the wheel instead of letting it turn. Or it's a run of bad timing that has nothing to do with anything you did, and everything to do with forces bigger than you. It turns again either way. The useful question is what you do with the waiting.

Resisting a change that's already underway, holding on to a moment that's naturally ending. It can also mean a run of bad luck that feels personal but isn't; sometimes the wheel just turns against you for a while. Either way, fighting the cycle usually costs more than moving with it. What goes down eventually comes back up. That part hasn't stopped being true.
