Page of Wands upright
Someone examines a budding staff with pure curiosity. This is enthusiasm before anything difficult has tested it. News, an idea, or a new interest is arriving with genuine excitement attached to it. This is a good time to explore without needing to commit yet — follow the curiosity and see where it actually leads. Whatever's caught your attention lately is worth more than a passing glance.
Something has genuinely interested you for the first time in a while, and that's worth taking seriously. This is the beginner stage, with all the freedom that comes from having nothing invested yet and no reputation to protect. Being bad at it right now is the point, not a problem to solve before starting. Follow the curiosity before you interrogate whether it leads anywhere.

Enthusiasm that scattered before it settled. Excited about ten things at once, committed to none of them. It can mean news delayed, or an idea that looked exciting and turned out to be all surface. Sometimes it's impulsiveness without the follow-through to back it up. Choose one of the ten things and stay with it past the interesting part.
The interest is real but it keeps moving. A new thing every few weeks, nothing sticking long enough to develop. Enthusiasm without a container tends to dissipate rather than build, however genuine it was. This can also mean an idea being abandoned at the first sign of it being harder than expected. Pick one and stay with it past the point where it stops being fun.
How this card is read
The passages above show this card on its own. In a reading, its meaning is composed again around its position and neighboring cards, so the same symbol can speak differently each time.
