Page of Cups upright
A fish pops out of the cup and the Page looks more delighted than surprised. Intuition arriving in playful, unexpected form. A creative or emotional message is on its way, and it's worth taking seriously even though it might look like a small thing. This is a good time to stay open and sensitive rather than guarded — the imagination is doing real work right now. Whatever feeling just surfaced is probably trying to tell you something.
Something is coming through that doesn't arrive as logic. A hunch, an image, an unexpected feeling about a situation. This card asks you to treat sensitivity as a working faculty rather than an inconvenience. Creative and emotional openings tend to look unserious at this stage. That's not a reason to dismiss them. Write it down before you talk yourself out of it.
Page of Cups reversed
Closed off exactly where openness would serve better. Guarded, or drowning in feeling with no outlet for any of it. It can mean creative block, or a message that got misread because it was heard through too much noise. Sometimes it's immaturity: emotional reactions louder than the situation actually calls for. Feeling this much isn't the problem. Having nowhere to put it is.
The channel is blocked. Either closed off deliberately or flooded past the point of usefulness. Emotional guardedness and emotional overwhelm produce the same outcome here: nothing gets processed. This can also mean an intuition that's been overridden by what seemed more reasonable. Give the feeling somewhere to go before deciding what it means.
